Terms of Service
Effective September 15, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of the GA Medical Card website, phone line and text messages. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What we do
GA Medical Card connects patients in Georgia, Florida and California with independent, licensed physicians for medical marijuana evaluations and helps with the related state registration steps. We are not a pharmacy or dispensary. We do not sell, dispense or deliver marijuana, and information on this site is general information, not medical advice.
No guarantee of certification
Whether you qualify is decided solely by the physician, based on their independent medical judgment and state law. Prequalifying on a call is not a guarantee of certification, and each state decides whether to issue a card.
No card, no charge
If the physician does not certify you at your evaluation, you will not be charged the visit fee. The visit fee is quoted before you book. State registry and card fees are set and collected by the state, are separate from our fee, and are not refundable by us.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the state where you are seeking certification, or a parent, legal guardian or registered caregiver acting for an eligible patient where state law allows. You agree to give accurate, complete information, including about your identity, residency and medical history.
Appointments and payment
Fees are due as described when you book. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us before your appointment. Some states require your first evaluation to be in person.
Text messaging terms
By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from GA Medical Card about prequalification, appointments, reminders and card status. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile information.
Physicians are independent
Physicians who perform evaluations are independent licensed professionals responsible for their own medical decisions. They are not employees of GA Medical Card.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, submit false information, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The site’s content, design and branding belong to GA Medical Card or its licensors. Photos are used under their providers’ licenses.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and service are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GA Medical Card is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your state of residence requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
